Nuthin' But Mech began as a blog back around 2009-10 as a means of having a centralized location for high-quality robot-themed illustrations and designs by entertainment industry professionals. I had been fortunate enough, over the course of 20 years at the time, to have accumulated a robust network of incredibly talented friends and associates who all agreed to join up. At Thom Tenery's suggestion, I ran the idea of a published version by Scott Robertson, founder of the publishing company Design Studio Press, and he agreed to start a limited book series.
After four amazing volumes, all of which feature hand-selected artists and designers, who agreed to produce original content and donate their proceeds to charity, producing these books has been an absolutely gratifying experience.
